Machines for electro-components processing

As a matter of fact, the production of machines for electro-component processing belongs among the first production activities of Komfi. These devices designed are primarily for the final stage of electro-component production. In this area, we focus predominantly on firms engaged in manufacturing or processing electro-components (usually of the SMD concept). Bending component leads, measuring their parameters, sorting per tolerances measured, counting and packing single pieces in various ways as per request are just a few examples of operations performed on our devices.

Our products have broken through mainly in Portugal, Germany and China. Our long-term experience and the good core of our established development team are the major contributions to the good name of Komfi, not only in foreign markets. Thanks to this, our machines constituted an assortment in high demand in the past; however, we can also satisfy our customers’ needs today.

We have been developing and manufacturing machines for finishing of electric components for more than 20 years. We have applied this rich experience with handling and packing electric components on development of packing automatic machines.  Packing machines of various designs differ depending on the technological requirements of the customer. Both the method and processing of input materials and a form of output of completed products differ depending on requirements during machine development and production.

Each packing automatic machine includes also sections for product measuring and sorting on the basis of detected electrical parameters. Good products are sorted in several categories on the basis of quality as required by the customer.

We offer special solutions in accordance with the demanding requirements and needs of the final customers. When designing a concept, we place strong emphasis on the correct layout of individual technological nodes. We always focus on the principal requirement of all customers to minimize built-up area and, at the same time, on the requirement of proper access for adjustment and setting of precise mechanisms. All mechanisms are designed for the “continuous operation” category.

Automatic taping machine BKD-10

 

The BKD-10 packaging machine is a modular machine allowing the production of various custom devices based on the customer’s requirements. This includes fairly sophisticated machines with fully automated operation. Parts with both SMD and classic design are processed (condensers, diodes, LEDs, photodiodes, transistors, photo-transistors, integrated circuits etc.). A computer statistically evaluates the measured values, which are easily accessible thanks to the machine’s connection to the company’s information system. The speed of processing parts on such machines is about 3 pcs/s. Batches (reels) are marked with barcodes and datamatrix codes.

 

Features
  • The components come on double row lead frames within double-pack magazines
  • The lead frames are competely worked up meaning that only empty lead frames will leave the machine
  • For sorting the machines is equipped with two taping modules (two qualities), taping to blister tape and two additional bins for the other purpose
  • The lead frames are transported to a cutting station where the chips are cut out of the lead frame
  • After cutting the chips are bended, the bended terminal shape and dimensions are check by a visual system
  • After bending the chips are electrically measured
  • According to these checks/measuring the machine decide what to do with each component: Put in Tape 1,2 or out it one of bins
  • Machine outputs are blastic blister tapes width 8 or 12 mm width components covered by plastic tape with heat activated glue
